To be quite honest, I think I’m trying to find my way back here a little bit. I’ve always enjoyed having this space on the internet. It’s apart from social media, a bit more customizable, and it’s less.. stuffy? You know? Like, it’s quieter over here.
But here’s the issue.. are people doing websites anymore? That’s what I’m struggling with.
Social media platforms have changed from just sharing pictures to sharing real-time moments, links, etc. So I feel like there isn’t anything I could put on here that I couldn’t also put on instagram. At the same time, sometimes instagram captions simply cannot handle everything I want to say. And guess what my character limit is over here? Whatever I want it to be. But now you also have things like Substack for long form content. Ugh, see my issue? What do I do here?
And sometimes I want a direct link for multiple amazon products. And since I’m not a real influencer who can make a storefront, I gotta jerry rig myself one on my own site, you know? So you’ll find that here too.
